Wooftastic proves to be a howling success

If you live in Oxfordshire you probably know places that are dog friendly. However, if you are a visitor coming to Oxfordshire on a day trip or holiday, it’s more difficult to find places that welcome you and your dog.

So, this is why I created Wooftastic Oxfordshire. The idea is to post details of dog friendly venues in Oxfordshire.

The idea behind this Facebook page is simple. In the UK, there are around 8.5 million dogs. People love to take their dogs with them, whether it’s on holiday or just to the local pub. Unfortunately, it not always easy to find out where people can take their dogs and be welcomed with open arms – a cuddle for the dog that is, not the owner!

It’s been nearly 18 months since I started the page, so I thought I would do a roundup of what’s been happening…

In that time Wooftastic has reached around 32,500 people which I’m really pleased about.

Wooftastic has posted details of Hotels, B and B’s, Cottages, Cafes, Pubs, Bars, Garden Centres, Campsites, walks and general interest articles about dogs.

For those of you that “follow”, have “liked” and “shared” the page already – I thank you

For those of you who haven’t found me yet, please take a look and share if you know of anyone who might find it helpful.

I’m always on the lookout for new recommendations, so if you have a favourite spot where you take your furry four-legged friend and want to give them a shout out, please message me and I will do the rest.
