Many successful entrepreneurs are people who have survived and learned from failure. Here are three secrets to help you keep going when you’re just starting out:

  • Experiment, experiment, experiment! A start-up business is just a vehicle to help you find a sustainable and profitable business model.
  • Expect to get almost everything wrong. This way you can be honest about what’s not working, learn from it and do something about fixing things.
  • Build a great team. No one can build a substantial business on their own so get great people to work with you.

These and many other secrets are captured in a new book called “Just Like You”, which has been published by Oxfordshire Business First.

The great thing about this book is that it makes is clear that entrepreneurship is an option for anyone prepared to give it a go; all you need is a good idea and the determination to give it a shot.

That is not to say however that everyone will be successful and it is important to be aware that failure is a common occurrence as many of the entrepreneurs in the book explain.
